Zahabiya Gabajiwala,The Main Head and Lead artist of ZA Works Design

Zahabiya Gabajiwala is the founder and lead artist of ZA Works Design, a visual space design business that specializes in murals, decals, branding, packaging, furniture customization, art installations, canvas paintings, and more. Murals, art installations, decals, furniture customization, packaging design, logo design, and canvas paintings are all services offered by ZA Works. They usually collaborate with architects and interior designers on residential and commercial interior design projects.

With her art-loving mother by her side, Zahabiya spent most of her youth painting and scribbling, so it was no surprise when she opted to pursue a bachelor’s degree in fine arts at Mumbai’s Jai Hind College. She studied commercial art and set design for her master’s degree at Mumbai’s Rachna Sansad College Of Applied Art and Craft.

Zahabiya began her career as an art director on movie and commercial shoots. She worked on the set design for Dharma Productions’ Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya in 2014, as well as various advertising campaigns for tubelight brands, Parachute hair oil, and other companies under the direction of various production designers.

Zahabiya’s main approach is geared towards aspiring, gifted artists who want to be heard. With her tea, she is building a platform to recognise and financially support these creative people as they embark on their path. They’re also working on a slew of other amazing murals and art pieces that will transform surfaces and create fascinating and engaging environments. ZA Works achieves a turnover of Rs 40 lakh per year despite all of the hurdles.
