Vinayak Garg Founded One Stop Solution For Every Budding Entrepreneur, Lazy Gardener
Vinayak Garg is the founder of Lazy Gardener, a company dedicated to offering urban gardeners unique and simple gardening solutions.
Vinayak graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He also spent a year in Lyon, France, at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées. Vinayak was one of 12 fellows selected for H.H. Dalai Lama’s Gurukul program in 2008, which is run by his organization. He spent two months in H.H. Dalai Lama’s monastery, which marked the beginning of his journey towards mindfulness, meditation, and spirituality.
Vinayak is a former consultant at PwC India and the founder of several businesses, he decided to capitalize on the urban gardening craze by addressing an issue that all plant parents face of delivering sustenance to their green children. He bootstrapped Lazy Gardener, a home gardening platform based in Delhi, with about Rs 1.5 crore in 2019.
GreenStix and BloomStix, which are plant feeding sticks that keep lush foliage, flowers, and fruits nourished for two months, are among the creative gardening solutions offered by this home gardening platform.
Vinayak began selling plant food sticks on the internet, both via his own website and through other markets such as Amazon and Flipkart. Plant propagation stands, gardening mats, and gardening-related décors such as plant stands, hangers, and fridge magnets were next introduced by the urban gardening startup.
Vinayak is a 2014 Startup Leadership Program Fellow in Delhi. The Challenge Cup (Health, India) was won by ZestMD, which was organized in 1776. Vinayak received the Young Visionary Award 2012 from Indiafrica, a government of India initiative.
