The Success Of Nick Cherkuri and His Company ThirdEye Gen
Nick Cherukuri is an American technology entrepreneur and the creator of ThirdEye Gen, a leader in enterprise mixed reality that offers all-in-one hardware and software solutions for businesses of all sizes.
Nick founded an AR/VR club at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School, which swiftly grew to several hundred members. In 2017, the company released its first augmented reality device, the X1 AR Smart Glasses. The business is working on enterprise AR technology and is set to introduce its next-generation X2 MR Smart Glasses in 2020. Mixed reality technology like 6 degrees of freedom tracking, aircraft recognition, and an all-in-one ruggedized design was featured in the X2. ThirdEye Gen sells to military, healthcare, and field service customers all throughout the world.
Nick was able to start ThirdEye Gen in 2016 with the help of his skills and the addition of professional engineers. ThirdEye also created specialized subscription software for healthcare and field services, which included features like remote telepresence. One of the company’s customers in the United States Army. Cherukuri is a regular commentator in the field of augmented reality, and he spoke on the main stage at AWE 2018 about the current and future state of AR devices in the enterprise and consumer space. He’s also lectured at the Consumer Electronics Show in New York City, the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and other major trade shows.
Cherukuri was selected on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in the enterprise technology category in 2019. In 2020, he was a finalist for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
