Rajkummar Rao – A Role Model for the Youth.

Rajkummar Rao is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi films. Rajkumar Rao is born in Prem Nagar Gurugram Haryana. His Father was a government employee in the Haryana Revenue Department, and his mother was a Housewife. Rao has two siblings.

Rao Completed His graduation from Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (Delhi University)Rao was highly inspired by Actor Manoj Pajpayee. So in 2008 he decided to enroll himself at FTII (Film And Television Institute of India) Pune And Moved to Mumbai to pursue a film career.

Rao debuted in Bollywood with Director Dibakar Banerjee’s film “Love Sex Aur Dhokha” (2010) the opposite of Neha Chauhan. After that, he got a chance to work in Ekta Kapoor’s Horror film Ragini MMS(2011).

Rao get really Looked at when he did “Gangs of Waseypur-2” (2012)And played the role of Shamshad Alam. It get really appreciated and it was both a critically and financially successful movie. After that, he also worked on many successful projects as Talaash, Stree, Kai Po Che, and Sahid.

 He has appeared in more than 30 films since 2010. Rao is the recipient of several accolades including a National Film Award, three Filmfare Awards, and an Asia Pacific Screen Award.

Rao gets a National Award for “Sahid”   Rao received the National Film Award for Best Actor at the 61st National Film Awards ceremony and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor at the 59th Filmfare Awards.

Rao has been in a relationship with Patralekha Since 2010. He married her on 15 November 2021 in Chandigarh.

Rao recently released movie was “Monica O my Darling” Starring Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, and Radhika Apte. The movie is directed by Vasan Bala and was released on 11th November on Netflix.
