Shahbaz Alam is the founder of CollegeTpoint by COSP Technologies Pvt Ltd which is a technology-driven start-up that simplifies college selection for students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.Tech.) in India.
Shahbaz earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology in 2017. In 2016, he launched Bookr Store, an Android platform that allows students to purchase and sell books. He then worked at Prime Focus Technologies as a full stack web developer until 2019. After that, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer with HashedIn by Deloitte for around two years.
He subsequently left his job during the Covid lockout to launch his own company, CollegeT point by COSP Technologies Pvt Ltd, to give himself a fresh start. He now employs ten to eleven people in his business. And in just one year, they had 60k+ app downloads and a 4.4 app rating. They assist students in getting into the finest college for their rank.
With CollegeTPoint, Shahbaz’s main goal is to assist students taking admission through JEE Main, IPU, WBJEE, MHCET, KEAM, COMEDK, GUJCET, CUSAT, and other engineering entrance exams with an application-based platform that has credible and authentic information about all universities. The platform give students a full environment that will aid them in completing their transition from high school to college with remarkable effectiveness and efficiency.
