Helping Employees Financially With Refyne India, Chitresh Sharma
Chitresh Sharma is the CEO and founder of Refyne India, a one-stop platform that helps employees create financial resilience while also cultivating a positive work environment. Employees can see and withdraw their earned money via their plug-and-play technology, rather than relying on exploitative payday loans or other high-interest lending schemes.
Chitresh has a master’s degree in international marketing from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland, and has previously co-founded two businesses: Swipii in Glasgow (2012) and Cloud9i Solutions in Bengaluru (2009).
He launched Refyne in 2021 with the goal of promoting a stress-free and productive workforce by giving employees real-time access to their earned money. Employers, according to the startup, play a critical part in their employees’ financial literacy plans. Refyne works with businesses to provide their employees with on-demand Earned Wage Access (EWA).
Refyne works with companies with more than 1,000 employees to adopt its plug-and-play solution, which works with any existing payroll or HRMS system. It mitigates the risk of employees withdrawing their earned salaries without affecting the condition of the employer’s working capital.
Refyne is funded by some of the most well-known venture capital firms, including DST Global partners and fintech experts that believe in financial inclusion. By removing predatory loan programmes, empowering employees with access to their earned salaries, and building faith in the financial system for the underserved, Refyne strives to simplify money and help improve personal finance for the people of India.
