Gautami Agarwal is the founder of the skincare line SKOG which is a unisex beauty brand that is inspired by the Swedish way of life. The items are designed in Sweden and manufactured by hand in India. All of the ingredients are sourced in their purest form from Sweden and other parts of the world. Each product is designed to not only provide natural benefits but also to strengthen the skin or hair from the inside out, preparing it for many more years.

Gautami has always had sensitive skin and relied on a variety of natural ingredients found in her kitchen. As she went for education and job from New Delhi, India to Vienna, Paris, London, and Stockholm, this developed into a type of practice.

Gautami earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion business from the Istituto Marangoni in Paris and a master’s degree in strategic entrepreneurship and innovation from King’s College in London. She subsequently began working in Stockholm’s luxury art market, where she sold high-end artwork worth hundreds of thousands of euros and limited-edition artwork to new geographies such as the Arab world, Japan, and the United States, among others.

For Gautami and her team, a product doesn’t just begin and end with the best components and formulas and also pay attention to other elements in and around the product to appeal to the user’s various senses. The skincare company has a website for both international and domestic audiences, and it sells on platforms such as Tata Cliq Luxury, Nykaa, Amazon, Sublime Life, and Flipkart. SKOG has promised not to utilize any animal-derived substances, nor to test any of their products on animals. PETA has classified them as a cruelty-free and vegan brand. Furthermore, their products are free of parabens, artificial scents, sulfates, silicones, petrochemicals, and phthalates.
