Founder of Zomato Deepinder Goyal

Deepinder Goyal is the Co-Fonder And CEO of Indias largest food delivering Service Company Zomato. Zomato not only Operate in India its also operates more than 24 countries LIke UK, Qatar, UAE, Sri Lanka. Zomato was founded in year 2008 Earlier (Foodiebay) With His partner Pankaj Chaddah. After that in year 2011 they Changed Foodiebay to Zomato.

Deepinder Goyal was born and brought up at Muktsar, Punjab. HE done his Garduation from IIT Delhi Back in year 2005 in Mathematics and Computing. After Completing his graduation from IIT Delhi he Worked as a management Consultant at Bain & Company in New Delhi.  Soon he started his entrepreneurial journey by leaving his job at Bain & Company and by starting his own food startup Foodiebay in 2008, later renamed as Zomato in 2010.

Deepinder Goyal understands that keeping a backup plan is always a great idea to survive in the entrepreneur journey. Goyal started investing in the startups from 2015. He has invested in the startup venture like SquadStack, Bira 91,  HyperTrack, TerraDo, etc. Deepinder Goyal invested $1.4M in Terra.do in August, 2019.

Zomato Limited went public in July 2021 and the IPO dates are 14 July to 16 July. Using the IPO, Zomato will raise about $1.1B funds from public. Ahead of the IPO, senior employee Akriti Chopra who helped building Zomato for decades was elevated as the co-founder of the company.

About His Personal Life,Deepinder Goyal is married to Kanchan Joshi who he met during his college life in IIT Delhi. Joshi, wife of Goyal then pursuing her MSc in mathematics and both were used to meet in the labs. They have a cute baby girl named Siara.
