Jithu Sukumaran Nair is the founder of VAAN Electric Mobility which is a lifestyle mobility brand for the green environment which is for the future and young generation. It is basically an electric mobility brand with a focus on health and fitness, as well as battery swapping solutions as a network of energy.

Mr. Jithu Sukumaran Nair has always wanted to build a tech company that would deliver innovative green energy solutions that would benefit both the environment and the economy. Each year, China imports more than 30 million electric scooters, according to him. Later, NIU developed Smart electric scooters, which included GPS monitoring, an embedded app, and were sold in the tens of thousands in the first month. In just three years, they have risen to become the world’s No. 1 electric scooter firm, and they are now listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange in the United States. This sparked Jithu Sukumaran Nair’s bright entrepreneurial mind, prompting him to consider bringing such scooters to India.

The company began selling their electric bicycle-Urbansport in the country in January 2021. The e-bike comes in two models: Urbansport and Urbansport Pro, with prices starting at Rs 59,999 and Rs 69,999, respectively. It was first sold in Kochi, before expanding to other high-potential cities such as Goa, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi. It was unveiled to the rest of the world at the EICMA motorcycle show in Italy. Vaan has technology cooperation with Benelli, a well-known motorcycle manufacturer.
