Founder of SkillEnable, Nirpesksh Kumbhat

Nirpeksh Kumbhat is the founder of SkillEnable, an ed-tech firm based in Kolkata that provides exclusive data science courses to prepare tech people for jobs. To make its programs accessible to a large pool of aspirants, it uses the pay-after-placement concept.
Nirpeksh, a Kolkata-based entrepreneur, worked in the education sector before founding his company in 2019.
He recognized that good education might open up a world of possibilities after being exposed to high-quality education in the UK, first at the University of Warwick and then at the London School of Economics.
In 2017, when he returned to India, he began working with colleges to assist them in bringing their courses online.
Nirpeksh established SkillEnable to help students learn futuristic skills and bridge the gap between industry and academics. He also intended to assist students in selecting the appropriate course to help them achieve their career goals.

Its goal is to expand access to high-quality education for India’s greatest young people by providing financial support. It is building a physical and digital network of institutes, NBFCs, banks, and students to address the demands of all stakeholders at the same time.

SkillEnable has a strict selection process and only accepts about 2% of applications. Companies such as Algoscale, KreditBee, The MathCompany, Schbang, Bridgei2i, Ugam, Cartesian Consulting, G-Square, and others have offered positions to its cohorts, resulting in a 91 percent placement rate.
