Founder Of Newndra Innovations, Ganesh Ram Jangir
Ganesh Ram Jangir is the creator of Newndra Innovations, an exoskeleton firm that provides efficient, lightweight, and carbon-negative exoskeletons at innovative pricing to improve the well-being of the elderly and employees while lowering fatigue and musculoskeletal diseases.
Ganesh is a former Microsoft Student Partner and recipient of the KYPY Fellowship (a prestigious fellowship award from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, supported by the Indian government). He has interned and completed research projects at famous institutes such as IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and BITS Pilani.
His parents, like others who worked in the fields, admitted to suffering from terrible back and spinal discomfort. Some people stated they continued to work despite the pain, while others said they used pills as a temporary fix. As a result of this occurrence, he devised a way to minimize the load on the spinal cord. In 2016, the social entrepreneur founded ‘Newndra Innovations,’ which developed JaipurBelts, an unpowered and lightweight exoskeleton that lessens the pressure on the spine by over 50%.
The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum has chosen Ganesh Innovation as one of the top three projects for the IUSSTEF funding Award 2015. He holds seven Indian patents and two US patents. He has spent the previous six years working on multidisciplinary social ideas and products, and he has received numerous national prizes and grants in India.
Ganesh was honored at the 2016 India Today Trailblazer Awards. Ganesh was invited to the Global Entrepreneur Summit-2015, which was hosted in Nairobi, Kenya, and was funded by the US government.
The Indian Merchant Chamber’s Inclusive Innovation Awards 2014, the Mashelkar Inclusive Innovation Awards 2013, and the TePP DSIR Grant -2012 have all recognized his achievements.
