INFLUENCER
Founder Of Invact Metaversity, Manish Maheshwari
Manish Maheshwari is the Founder and CEO of Invact Metaversity, a Metaversity platform that will provide students with high-quality, socially-rich virtual immersion learning experiences given to them wherever they are, at a cost they can pay.
Manish was the Head of Twitter India before joining Invact, and during that time, Twitter’s audience in India rose threefold, making India the fastest-growing audience market in the world. Manish was the CEO of Network18 Digital before joining Twitter, where he oversaw one of India’s largest digital media conglomerates, which included brands like Moneycontrol, Firstpost, CNN-News18, CNBC India, and Forbes India. He worked at Flipkart, Intuit, McKinsey, and P&G before joining Network18. Manish has an MBA from Wharton Business School with honours and can be found on Twitter as @manishm.
When the epidemic struck, unemployment became a bigger issue than it had ever been. The organisation realised that the problem is enormous and requires a scalable platform solution after studying the survey data and research. He felt there had to be a better way because current technology-driven solutions were failing. Learning should not be a solitary and isolated experience on a website. It’s past time for online education to be given its due. And keep the promise of a high-quality education for everyone.
As a result, Invact was formed, providing students with an immersive university-like platform where they may interact with a virtual environment that is combined with the actual world. The metaversity is intended to make it easier to create online communities and ecosystems.
Manish credits his success to education, despite coming from an ordinary middle-class family in India’s countryside. He aspires to be a change agent who can assist billions of people through education.
