Founder of Fetch Package, Michael Patton

Michael Patton is the founder of Fetch Package which is an off-site package management service for multifamily housing developments.
He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a finance degree and worked in corporate finance in Minnesota before moving to Dallas in late 2015. When he discovered that landlords were spending an inordinate amount of money on leasing agents and labor managers to deal with the packages, he decided to work on Fetch Package.
Patton had an idea, quit his job, and founded Fetch Package, a company that runs warehouses that take all goods for residents of client buildings and coordinates a regular, door-to-door delivery service.

For large complexes, he charges a monthly fee to oversee deliveries. Customers who order online have their products delivered to the nearest Fetch warehouse rather than their home address. The company processes shipments and informs clients when their products are ready so that they can schedule a delivery time that is convenient for them.
His business now employs nearly 50 people, with many more drivers on the way to making their goal a reality. They have a bunch of folks who are extremely hard workers, but more importantly, they are good people. Fetch presently has contracts for little over 200,000 doors, or roughly 700 communities, across the country. It has partnerships with seven of the country’s top ten apartment management organizations.

Fetch secured $18 million in a Series B round earlier this month, led by Iron Gate Capital and Pando Ventures, with existing investors Signal Peak Ventures, Silverton Partners, Seamless, and Venn Ventures joining.
