A Budding Entrepreneur who is looking for a change with Bharatm, Neeraj Singh Bisht
Neeraj Singh Bisht is the founder of Bharatam which is India’s own app, to promote the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Vocal for Local’ initiatives. He has always thought that one should never give up, that one should learn from mistakes, that one should grow via experiences, and that one should climb with time.
Neeraj, a law graduate, left his position at Thomson Reuters in 2014 to start his own corporate gifting company, giftooz.com. Despite the fact that the business did not succeed as intended, he kept looking for another great idea and soon founded Delivree King, a delivery and promotion service provider, and subsequently Tecmanic, a mobile development firm. In 2016, Delivree King ceased operations.
During a casual thought about the ‘Make in India’ story and the rise of domestic ventures, Bharatam whose parent company is Bisht Technologies Pvt Ltd was born. With rising data nationalism and a shift toward what appears to be sovereign cyberspace, a growing number of Indian entrepreneurs and software developers are developing social networking platforms that aim to harness the power of data generated by a billion Indians and their desire to stay connected to their community and the rest of the world.
Bharatam is a bootstrapped business and social networking website that offers several capabilities equivalent to a full-fledged major tech social platform right from the start, taking on the likes of Facebook.
The app intends to deliver a localized experience, enabling discovery and engagement for individuals and businesses nearby and includes a ready-to-use marketplace, a messenger with end-to-end encryption, paid membership features, and a variety of adjustable profile elements.
